 Sindhi Centre

 
 

The SAUK has a centre for the benefit of the community. It is used for various activities however it is also regularly rented out, which raises money for the Association. The Centre is currently staffed only to manage the day-to-day administration of the Association.

 

The Centre boasts the following facilities:
  • Main Hall
  • Side Rooms
  • Mini Stage
  • Fold Away Table
  • Chairs
  • Public Telephone
  • Kitchen
  • Sound System

At present the centre is not fully suitable for wheelchair access. There is ramp access from the rear of the building, but arrangement have to be made before hand. The toilet facilities are not disabled friendly.
 

Parking
There is no parking at the Sindhi Centre. There is local street parking available. Car sharing is encouraged. Use of public transport is encouraged.
 

Transport
The nearest London Underground station is Kenton (Bakerloo line). Also, close by is Northwick Park (Metropolitan line). There are buses on Kenton Road.
 
Cycling
Visitors are encouraged to cycle to the Centre. Whilst there are no cycle stands, but there is lots of space to lean bikes against walls. You should bring a bike lock.

 Hiring the Centre

 
  The centre can be hired both by the community members, businesses, individuals for private functions, meetings or parties. Please call the Sindhi Centre on 020 8909 2151  (mornings only) to discuss your requirements .

The sound system is available at extra cost.
